Her story
Pain became purpose.Purpose became a home.
On November 18, 2023, Jen and Rob Airley's son Binyamin fell in Gaza while serving with the Paratroopers' 101st Battalion. He was twenty-one.
Grief could have closed a family. Instead, it opened a question that would not let Jen go: how do you honor a life taken at twenty-one? Her answer was not to bury her son, but to plant him, letting his story take root in the lives of others.

From that loss came a living legacy. Jen and Rob founded Beit Binyamin, a retreat home in Tzfat for those carrying the effects of war and loss. Today it welcomes soldiers, families and survivors from across Israel, offering what Jen and Rob themselves most needed: rest, understanding and room to breathe.
“We didn't bury him.
We planted him.”
A legacy is not only what we remember. It is what we choose to grow and build from pain.
