This year’s Chanukah lighting at Beit Binyamin was a powerful tribute to the original Maccabees. Each family who celebrated Chanukah with us brought their own modern-day Maccabee—whether it was a father, son, or even a grandfather—heroes who have dedicated much of the year fighting for the safety and wellbeing of Am Yisrael. With our Chanukiah shining brightly against the beautiful backdrop of Meron, these brave chayalim and their families found an oasis of peace, connection, and quality time at Beit Binyamin this Chanukah.
